Produced as a Comet kit in 1940 based on a design by Carl Goldberg. The 30" span with 148 sq. in area. Zipper was the one-design model for the 2002 FAC Nationals Old Time Gas Electric Event.

Old Time Replica is an event sponsored by the Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) for models designed prior to Dec. 31, 1942, that have been scaled down to less than 36 for .020 power. These are truly models-of-models. The Flying Aces Club spnsors an event call Old Time Gas electric. Only difference between the SAM and FAC event is the power requirement. SAM useds .020 gas and FAC uses electric. BMJR kits are designed to fly in either SAM or FAC events .
