The BMJR version of Carl Goldberg's 1/2A Viking is scaled to 84% of the original by John Anderson for the National Free Flight Society one design competition at the 2011 Nats. Model retains all the lines of the original, and the same flight characteristics except for a faster climb. Kit also has exterior instead of center spars for a stiffer wing. Although the Viking designed in the 1960 is not Nostalgia legal, the one-design event is to be flown to Nostalgia rules, with any Nostalgia legal or TD.049 engine.
