Quick Overview
DA-588Quick Overview
The 60" PBY was designed as a lightweight park flyer and can be flown in fairly small venues due to its light wing loading, but is large enough to be flown on regular flying fields. With a few minor alterations it can be flown off water as well. To keep the weight down, the fixed landing gear is removable and the tip floats can be attached in either the retracted or extended configuration. The kit was designed as the early model, but also includes the parts necessary to add the bow turret.
