Ranger 30 R/C Park Flyer

Quick Overview

In 1958 Carl Goldberg introduced the Ranger 30 to the modeling community through his Carl Goldberg Models company. Wit a 30” span and all sheet balsa construction, the Ranger 30 was intended to help the new modeler achieve success in building a model airplane that also flew well.  The original kit was set up to be built as a Free flight or Control Line model with glow engine power. 

This kit is an R/C Park flyer that is based on the Goldberg Ranger 30.  As a park flyer this model retains most of the features of the original Free Flight / Control Line model while taking advantage of current day  micro RC gear and electric propulsion system.  This model can also be flown with the original Cox PeeWee .020 glow engine power sett up.
