Corsair Electric Conversion

Quick Overview

This conversion is designed by Dennis Adamisin for the Corsair (CLB-29).  The Corsair fuselage is very wide making it impractical to use any of the Universal electric conversions - a purposed design was needed.  The Fuselage has a side access for accessing and changing batteries.  The battery compartment is 1.62" tall x 4.5" wide x 5.75" long .  That means there is room for 3 batteries side by side -  but please don't try that!   The motor is front mounted, and the recommended motor is the Brodak 2826 (#BH-2076), but there is plenty of room for oversize 35xx motors. The recommended 4S x 2700 battery (BH-1847) can be moved almost 1.5" fore/aft to fine tune the Center of Gravity.  The large removable cowl provides easy access to all power system components. Build it in homage to the Marines, the Navy, or even as a civilian Air Racer!
