Includes 6 laser cut sheets, landing bear blocks, wire landing gear, with straps and photo illustrated instruction manual. This conversion kit also allows you to build in 3° dihedral that raises the wing tips about 1” (each) and all but eliminates any vertical CG issues from the original design.
Details
The Brodak F-51 Mustang is based on the Sterling OTS era design, including the flat wing and fuselage mounted landing gear. Now you can modernize your Mustang by moving the landing gear to the wing where it belongs and adding 3° dihedral. This greatly improves the realism of the old war horse. The conversion kit includes new spar braces, rib reinforcements, landing gear blocks, new wires and gear leg fairings. Includes photo illustrated instruction manual. By making these mods your F-51 Mustang will probably be DQ'd at most OTS contests, unless you find a very sympathetic CD!
Designed for IC powered Mustangs. However, this same wing mod kit is included in electric conversion #BH-1951 which includes both the fuselage mods for electric power AND the wing mods.
