Quick Overview

How about a WWI fighter that flies more like an "old timer" than a fighter? Due to its wing design and light wing loading our D-VIII does not have any of those quirky flying qualities that WWI fighters are reputed to have. Stable & honest, the D-VIII will make a great first WWI model, and can be flown by anyone with small airplane experience.

Wing Span: 46.75" Plane Length: 33" Wing Area: 345 sq. in. Engine: Electric - Speed 400 - Glow .049

Designed by Pat Tritle to please all modelers flying Gas or Electric U-Control or Gas or Electric RC.  We have included directions for installing gas or electric gear and directions for bellcrank installation for the U-Control version. All balsa wood is AAA. This is an excellent model designed for intermediate level building and flying.
