Placing Orders


Brodak Is A Leader In Control-Line Flying!

Brodak products are available at hobby shops across the United States. If, for any reason, your local hobby shop does not currently carry Brodak products, please let them know that Brodak’s encourages dealers inquiries. If your local dealer does not carry the items you want, they may be ordered directly from us.



Your Order Is Important!

Orders may be placed by mail, by telephone, by e-mail or by fax. Send your mail orders to Brodak’s, 558 Route 88, Carmichaels, PA 15320. Telephone orders can be placed by calling 724-966-2726. Be sure to include your full name and complete shipping address, as well as the quantity, SKU # and description of each item you are ordering so that your order can be filled quickly and accurately. All orders are processed as soon as possible, generally within 24 hours.



Methods Of Payment

The minimum order via check or money order is $5.00 while the minimum order when using VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER or AMERICAN EXPRESS is $20.00. Credit card customers should include a daytime telephone number. All orders are billed according to prices currently in effect. Prices are subject to change without notice.



Shipping And Handling

All orders within the U.S. will be charged $15.99 for shipping and handling*. Please remember that there are Postal Service regulations prohibiting the shipping of certain products, including fuel and dope products. Also please note that UPS, FEDX and freight shipments require a full street address, not just a P.O. box number. Extra shipping and handling costs due to address changes or errors are beyond the control of Brodak’s and will be billed to the customer.

*With the exception of paint, fuel and oversized kits, the cost on these products will be calculated according to the weight, size and destination of the package. Due to regulations, we are prohibited to ship “gallons” of fuel and paint products.

***You may see an additional charge on your credit card if your carts' estimated shipping is lower than the actual cost to ship.    


Orders From Outside The U.S.

Brodak’s welcomes orders from outside the United States. All payments, however, must be made in U.S. funds in the form of an International Money Order, a bank draft drawn on a U.S. bank, VISA or MASTERCARD. We cannot accept non-U.S. currency or personal checks from customers outside the U.S. Minimum order 20.00.

Shipping on international orders will be estimated and/or calculated according to weight by the post office, therefore, we are unable to give you an exact shipping cost until we actually take your package to the post office.

Product Liability & Warranty


Product Liability

Brodak Mfg. & Dist. Co, Inc. takes pride in the quality and reliability of its products. Bodak’s only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of the product proven to be defective. The user shall determine the suitability of the product for his/her intended use and shall assume all risk in the connection therewith.


Product Warranty

This limited warranty applies to Brodak products, and only for Brodak products, purchased from Brodak Mfg. & Dist. Co, Inc.


What does this limited warranty cover?

This limited warranty covers any defects in material and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

During the warranty period, (180 days from the date of purchase). You must provide proof of purchase. Brodak Mfg. & Dist. Co, Inc. will repair or replace, at no charge, Brodak products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship under normal use.


What will we do to correct the problems?

Brodak Mfg. & Dist. Co, Inc. will either replace or repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.


What will the warranty cover?

A replacement or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Brodak products or 180 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.


What does this limited warranty not cover?

The limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material & workmanship.

Damage resulting from improper use or negligence.

Damage of a product resulting from unauthorized modification.

Damage resulting from natural disasters.

Theft of a product.

Loss of product or damage from “third party” purchase.


Return Policy

Brodak Manufacturing and Distributing Co., Inc. inspects every kit and all materials prior to shipping. Brodak’s takes great pride in its high-quality engineering and manufacturing standards, as well as its quality control program. Our goal is 100 percent customer satisfaction.

If you should have a problem with any product manufactured or sold by Brodak’s, we will make every effort to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, here are the return policies for Brodak Manufacturing and Distributing Company, Inc.

Please note:
No adjustments can be made after 45 days from the date of invoice.



Contact Brodak Manufacturing before returning any merchandise. Merchandise cannot be returned without prior permission and an authorization code. When you contact Brodak’s, please explain your reason for the return. When you return the merchandise, you must include a detailed explanation of the problem. (This will help us avoid creating the problem in the future). You must also include a copy of the invoice you received when you purchased the item. All returns should be well packed and insured against damage.


In general, merchandise must be returned unused and undamaged to be accepted at full value. Boxes and other packaging also must be returned undamaged. Brodak’s will accept for credit or replacement any new merchandise that is defective.


Restocking Charges

There is a minimum 5.00 charge for any stock returned to Brodak’s, up to 50.00, and an additional 10 percent restocking charge on any amount over 50.00. Restocking charge does not apply to defective merchandise.



Merchandise Damaged In Shipment

Every effort is made to insure that merchandise is not damaged in shipment. In accepting delivery of boxes from Brodak’s, check the boxes for possible damage. If the boxes have been damaged in transit, you must be sure to have the deliveryman sign the delivery forms certifying that the shipment arrived in poor or damaged condition. You should notify Brodak’s immediately concerning damage to merchandise in the boxes, and include specific details. We recommend that all merchandise be shipped via UPS rather than parcel post.



Merchandise That Fails After Use

Guarantees on engines or other pieces of power equipment are extended by the manufacturer of the specific product. You should send in the warranty cards to the manufacturer as soon as possible and should write to the manufacturer about defects and repairs.



Missing Parts

Brodak’s will replace any parts for Brodak kits that are missing or defective. Please send us a copy of your invoice, along with the defective parts or a description of any missing parts.


Brodak’s cannot stock parts to cover shortages from the kits of other manufacturers whose products are sold by us. If you have a problem with a product from another manufacturer, please contact the manufacturer directly. If the manufacturer does not reply, please send us a copy of your invoice and the letter you sent to the manufacturer. We will attempt to resolve the problem on your behalf.
