Tru Mount Landing Gear Block

(originally TMT-1)Features an inletted hard maple main mounting block. A stamped aluminum cover nests in the inletted area, allowing the landing gear wire to be concealed from view, and still enable the landing gear to be removed for construction, finishing and for transportation. Four 4-40 blind nuts are affixed to the back side of the main block assembly, and four flat head 4-40 machine screws are included to secure the aluminum plate. The plate can be painted to match the model's finish and trim scheme. Two maple spur blocks are included. These are to be glued to the backside of the main block and provide an anchor for the torsion peg of the landing gear wire.
