Details

The International Stunt Champ by Lloyd Curtis was the winner of the 6th Annual Plymouth International Model Plane Contest in Detroit, Michigan, August, 1952, and was awarded the Air Trails Perpetual Trophy. The Design was published in the March 1953 issue of Air Trails, in which Mr. Curtis wrote; If you want a realistic-looking model that will stunt like crazy, this is it. Its realistic appearance and clean lines also won a high position in appearance points. The original model was cream with red trim and a black pin stripe. It has a combination of features from many other history making stunt planes. Flying this model is a challenge to any stunter. The BMJR models was created for Bob Whitney to fly at the 2009 Vintage Stunt Championships in Tuscon, Az.
